{In celebration of National Poetry Month, I’ll be posting a poem each weekday through the rest of April, and I invite you to join me! Leave a link to your poem of the day in the comments section below.}
Last night spring peepers
sang, the pluck-pluck of their notes
rising into night
finally bridging
late winter to spring, each note
rejoicing in mud
Hurrah! My favorite harbingers of spring!

Fun poem Katie. We visited a nature center yesterday and saw a ton of tadpoles and salamanders in the pond. My poem for today is also about a small bit of nature: http://lifewiththecrew.typepad.com/my-blog/2015/04/a-bug-and-a-babe.html

Wow, I love that photo you shared with your poem–those must be false eyes on the top of it’s head!
